What did you do: I said the word gay
Why should this action be reversed: Saying the word gay isn't homophobic, its just stating a sexuality
the same thing wouldn't happen if someone said straight so why is gay any different. I never used it
in an offensive way i just said it, also as someone is bi i find it fairly annoying how you think any
person that isn't straight would find someone saying gay homophobic

Saying "gay" in chat out of nowhere is considered homophobic, because it's clear people use the word to insult others. The context matters. Moreover, it's way more important how others perceive the things you say, and your "gay" out of nowhere was considered homophobic by others, no matter your intention. It's common sense to not say "gay" out of nowhere in a chat, especially if you are not straight.
