PlayUHC has a variety of game modes, all unique in their own way. They are available on the Game Selector in the Hub, just right click while holding the compass.
Players can play game modes on Minecraft versions 1.8 and even 1.20!
UHC Game Modes
These are the regular game modes that you can find on the Game Selector. In the lobby of these games, there is a helpful "InfoBook" in your inventory that provides more detailed information as well as Tips and Tricks!
Creative Rush
The game starts in creative mode for 20 seconds. You will have five minutes to prepare for a meetup!
Typical game length: 10 minutes
Cut Clean UHC
Autosmelt and autocook help make the game smoother!
Typical game length: 45 minutes
Dragon Rush
Kill the Ender Dragon! You find endermen, blazes, and strongholds all over the place in the overworld! Get arrows from gravel, craft 4 eyes of ender and use them to open a portal that you can find by using the eyes of ender!
Typical game length: 30 minutes
Dragon Rush PvE
Like Dragon Rush, but without PvP!
Typical game length: 30 minutes
Dragon Rush Vanilla

Duels
Duel another player in a UHC arena.
Enchanting UHC
All players start with 64 Enchantment Tables, 64 Anvils, 128 Bookshelves, and 10,000 XP Levels. Ore Vein Miner is enabled.
Typical game length: 20 minutes
Explosive UHC
Everyone spawns with a stack of TNT. TNT auto-ignites when placed. Mobs explode 3 seconds after you kill them!
Typical game length: 30 minutes
Flower Power
Break flowers and dead bushes to get random items and EXP! Enchanting and brewing are two main aspects of this game!
Typical game length: 20 minutes
God UHC
Your God Pickaxe will guide you through a world filled with ores. Get tons of diamonds and gold, and craft insanely OP God Apples!
Typical game length: 10 minutes
Gone Fishing
Use your fishing rod to get random items that you will use to defeat your opponents in a meetup!
Typical game length: 10 minutes
Meetup
The quickest and simplest UHC match: you spawn with gear, and you kill all your opponents!
Typical game length: 5 minutes
Moles UHC
One person on each team can be automatically chosen to be the Mole.
The Moles team can communicate with each other, and their objective is to take out other players!
The moles are picked when PvP is enabled. Friendly Fire is ON!
Typical game length: 45 minutes
Mystery Scenarios
A game with the following permanently enabled scenarios: Cut Clean, Golden Heads, Hastey Boys, Mystery Scenarios, and Timber.
Mystery Scenarios randomly picks 5 additional scenarios that change every 10 minutes!

Mystery Speed
Same as Speed UHC, but 5 scenarios are randomly picked and they will change every 5 minutes!
Typical game length: 20 minutes
Randomizer UHC
All item drops are random, including those dropping from breaking chests and other containers!
Typical game length: 20 minutes
Red Rover
Two teams battle each other in 1 player vs 1 player battles.
Red vs Blue
Two teams against each other in a simple and quick Meetup match!
Typical game length: 5 minutes
Scenario Madness
Vote between 60+ scenarios! The top 3 voted scenarios will be in the game, plus a bonus scenario that will be picked randomly!
Typical game length: 45 minutes
Scrambled Craft UHC
All crafting recipes, except crafting table, dyes from flowers, planks and sticks are scrambled!
Typical game length: 20 minutes
Sonic UHC
Permanent speed 3 effect, a diamond pickaxe with efficiency 5, triple ores and several scenarios make getting resources in this mode incredibly fast! Cow rooms spawn underground to help you with enchanting.
Typical Game length: 10 minutes
Speed UHC
You have a permanent speed effect, your pickaxes will have Efficiency 3 and Ore Vein Miner is enabled. Cow rooms spawn underground to help you with enchanting.
Typical game length: 20 minutes
Survival Games UHC
Up to 24 players fight against each other with the items they can find in the chests placed around the map!
An airdrop chest drops from the sky. Locate it with a compass! At 6 minutes into the game, the border will quickly shrink towards the center.
Typical game length: 10 minutes
Vanilla UHC
The most classic and basic UHC game!
Typical game length: 45 minutes
Wither Rush
The overworld is being invaded by the Nether: Wither Skeletons wander around the overworld, building underground Nether bases to prepare for the invasion. There is only one way to stop them: summon and kill a Wither boss!
Typical game length: 30 minutes
Other Game Modes
Game modes that players can stil enjoy!
Free-for-all Arena
Commonly called FFA Arena, this is an always-on battle arena that you can keep playing indefinitely. Players spawn with gears, and they have infinite lives. They do not regenerate life naturally. Killing players will make them drop a Golden Apple, a head, and 8 golden ingots. Golden Heads can be crafted.
Additionally, the killer's flint and steel will be restored to its original durability and there is a chance for an enchantment to be applied to their armor.
