Randomizer item reveals at the end of games

I think it could be cool if at the end of games in like randomizer, or scrambled crafting it tells you what items you had to break in order to get good stuff. For example:

"Golden Apples dropped from lapis ore."
"Diamond blocks dropped from netherrack."
"Wood dropped from killing sheep."

It's not easy to do. Although yours is just an example, you will never see a "Wood dropped from killing sheep". Killing entities does not randomize items. Items are randomized when an "item drop entity" spawns in the world, except when it spawns from a player dropping an item.

Moreover, there are additional technical reasons that cannot make this work. Unless someone got a Golden Apple from a randomized dropped item, the server does not know where a Golden Apple will drop from, as each item is picked randomly when a dropped item type is "spawned" for the first time in the game.

Additionally, the server does not have a list of item names, just item IDs, so it's gonna be hard to show, for example, "Golden Apple dropped from Lapis Lazuli", because actually Lapis Lazuli's ID on 1.8 is "INK_SACK".

I won't do this especially because showing something like "Golden Apple dropped from Nether Bricks" won't really help anyone, because you won't know what dropped Nether Bricks, and I can't just show all the materials in chat, especially because you have few seconds to check them before you get kicked from the server... I think it adds very little to the game as every game has random items.
