KaiNoMood - 2022-08-06 08:47:48 UTCThe "bedrock/glass" border was done by other servers before Mojang introduced the current world border into Minecraft 1.8, which came out in 2014.
Since those servers wanted to accept older client versions like Minecraft 1.7.10, they coded their server to have such border and they kept it that way.
PlayUHC was born in 2016, supporting Minecraft 1.8 and above and its world border feature since then. PlayUHC has never supported older Minecraft versions than 1.8, and I am pretty sure PlayUHC has never had UHC games with a "bedrock border". As switching to a bedrock border would require extensive code changes, dropping several "features" in several game modes, a huge performance hit because of the bedrock border generation, and provides no benefits to the gameplay, the current border will never be changed to a bedrock one.
